Dogfit’s very own pin up boy and rescue Staffie, Winston, features in “Paws”, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s Winter Edition magazine…

My husband and I rescued our Staffie, Winston, from Battersea’s Windsor Home back in January and it wasn’t long before we introduced him to the wonderful world of Canicross.

I wanted to show what great companions Staffies make and how Canicross in particular is a wonderful outlet for rescue dogs (in fact any dog!) and the best way to bond.

Hopefully this article will encourage more people to give canicross a go and get fit with their dog…and if you don’t already have a dog, consider getting a rescue and taking up a new hobby together
